'Thimmarusu' has Satyadev Kancharana in a seemingly intense role. After 'Bluffmaster' and '47 Days', he is attempting a mainstream role as against what we saw in his OTT hit 'Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya'.

Directed by Sharan Koppisetty of 'Kirrak Party' fame, the film's First Look dropped today. The entertainer, whose shoot is almost over, will hit the screens in January. Its teaser will be released on December 9.

Produced by Mahesh S Koneru and Srujan Yarabolu, the film has 'Taxiwala' actress Priyanka Jawalkar as the heroine. 'Assignment Vali' is its evocative and intriguing caption. Cinematography and music are by Appu Prabhakar and Sricharan Pakala of 'Kshanam' fame, respectively.

Meanwhile, Satyadev's 'Guvva Gorinka' will release on OTT on December 17.
