For quite some time now, news about Shekhar Suman turning director had been on rounds. Titled as ‘Heartless’, the film was reported to see his son, Adhyayan Suman sharing the screen space along with him in the lead. Interestingly, the film will bring together father-son duo for the first time on the silver screen.

Touted as an unusual romantic medical thriller, The digital first look of the film was unveiled recently to an overwhelming response. The USP of the poster is that instead of featuring the actors in the film, the poster displays a scalpel cutting through a heart-shaped rose petal with a line below it that says ‘you can hurt a heart only till it loves you’.

Apart from the two Sumans, the film introduces a new girl Ariana Ayam and supported by Deepti Naval, Om Puri and Madan Jain.

Actor Shekhar Suman, who was applauded for his serious roles in films like ‘Utsav’, ‘Tridev’ and ‘Pati Parmeshwar’ and series like ‘Wah Janab’, ‘Reporter’ and ‘Main’, is now looking forward to make a successful directorial impression as well.

‘Heartless’ is slated to release on February 7 next year.
