After months and years of wait, fans now finally have the first glimpse of Ayan Mukerji's highly ambitious sci-fi fantasy film 'Brahmastra'. The project stars biggies like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and several others and it has been in production since a couple years now. However, on Wednesday, a short teaser and a motion poster introducing Ranbir Kapoor's character Shiva were released and they have surpassed all the expectations.

The teaser shared by Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan looks heavy on VFX and it has a voiceover of Ranbir Kapoor who says, “Kuch chal rha hai duniya mein Isha...aisa kuch jo normal logo ke samjh ke bahar hai"...kuch purani shaktiyan hai, kuch astra hai." To this, Alia character replies, "Yeh sab tumhe kyun dikh rha hai..Tum ho kaun Shiva." The teaser ends as Ranbir Kapoor's character poster in displayed on screen.

The poster shows Ranbir surrounded by flames with outer space in the background while he holds a weapon that resembles Lord Shiva's trident. This is enough to hype up the audience who are already very excited to watch the movie. The film is supposed to hit the theatres on 9th of September 2022.
