Tollywood maverick maker Puri Jagannath, known for his blockbuster movies in the past, like Pokiri, Amma Nana O Tamil Ammayi, Businessman, Idiot, Badri etc, has been of late not able to score a success, with his last few movies like Loafer, Rogue, Jyoti Lakshmi and Mehbooba, failing to strike a chord with the audience.

However, the director is all set to return with a vengeance, as he has joined hands with energetic star Ram Pothineni for the first time. Tentatively referred to as Rapo17 and Puri35, the movie, touted to be an action thriller, is bankrolled by Puri Jagannath and Charmme.

Now, it has been announced officially that the title and first look of the exciting combo will be out tomorrow at 4 pm and the movie is expected to hit screens in May. Ram's last release Hello Guru Prema Kosame was an average outing, and his last hit happens to be Nenu Sailaja(2016). With both the actor and director on the lookout for a blockbuster, it is to be seen if this project works out in their favor.
