First Look of Rajkummar Rao & Manoj Bajpai's 'Aligarh' out!

Ace filmmaker Hansal Mehta, who was highly acclaimed for his works in Shahid` and Citylights` is back again with his next 'Aligarh'. This National Award winning director took to twitter and shared the first poster of his next film, 'Aligarh'.

The movie features brilliant actor Manoj Bajpayee and talented Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. According to sources, the film is based on real-life incidents of Dr. Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras, who was a professor of Marathi at the Aligarh Muslim University. The story revolves around how he was suspended from his job because of his sexual orientation. After a long wait and successfully appealing his suspension, he died in suspicious circumstances.

Manoj Bajpai will be seen as professor Siras and Rajkummar Rao will play a journalist in the film. The movie was shot in Bareilly, Agra, Uttar Pradesh and will hit the theatres on Feb 26.
