Someone is telling the story of Mollywood's iconic actress Shakeela. Yes, it's a biopic. Currently being shot in Karnataka, this film casts Bollywood diva Richa Chadda (of 'Fukrey', 'Ram Leela', 'Masaan', 'Sarbjit' and 'Main Aur Charles' fame) in the role of the adult film actress.

Directed by Indrajit Lankesh, its First Look is out. The film reportedly tells the story of Shakeela right from her childhood. How she rose up to superstardom in Kerala in her own right will be exciting to watch for many. One only hopes there won't be any titillation in the movie.

"Shakeela's fans were spread across Asia and she earned fanfare as a woman which back then was unheard of," a news agency recently quoted Richa's spokesperson as saying. "The film's script was exciting and is a great story to tell and the story will make for a great watch for the audience," Richa is said to be feeling about the "honest" biopic.
