Late actor Irrfan Khan's son Babil is just as charismatic as his father. He is going to make his debut with Netflix project 'Qala'. It will be directed by Anvitaa Dutt and stars Swastika Mukherjee and Tripti Dimri in important roles. Actress Anushka Sharma will produce the project under Clean Slate Filmz. The film is described as a “beautiful, heart-breaking story about a daughter who craves her mother’s love.” The first look video of the project was revealed recently.

The video is mostly in slow motion and its shows cast and crew filming scenes in a snowy landscape. Although the plotline hasn't been revealed yet, the cinematic shots and awesome colour palette have already drawn attention.

Babil shared the first look on his instagram and wrote, "Tripti freaking Dimri is back again!!!!!! Whooooooo!!! (and a little bit of me ❤️) Also I’m a bit skeptical about the phrase ‘getting launched’ because the audience should launch off their seats while watching our film and not any individual actor. “From the creators of Bulbbul, Clean Slate Filmz and Anvita Dutt, we bring you #Qala, a Netflix Original film. Qala will be here soon to share her story of her fight for a place in her mother’s heart.”
