First Look of Aha’s ‘Bhama Kalapam’ drops!

‘Bhama Kalapam’ is an up-and-coming web original to be streamed on Aha. Bharat Kamma of ‘Dear Comrade’ fame is its show-runner. Headlined by Priyamani, who was seen in a pivotal role in last year’s blockbuster web series ‘The Family Man 2’, the thriller is touted to be a novel one.

Helmed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti, its First Look is out. “She is your friendly neighbour, but she has many stories and secrets to tell,” Aha tweeted, sharing the poster of the comedy thriller.

Going by the poster, it seems the narration is going to be layered. We see the protagonist’s pose resembling that of Goddess Durga from mythology. “She is holding a knife, a basket, a plate of biryani, a broom, an egg and a pooja-room bell while peeping into something as if she’s holding binoculars in her hand,” the makers said.

The protagonist is a multi-hued character. With music by Justin Prabhakaran, the web original has cinematography by Deepak Kumar and editing by Viplav. It has been bankrolled by Sudheer Edara and Bogavalli Bapineedu of SVCC Digital.

The release date of ‘Bhamakalapam’ is yet to be announced.
