Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has carved out a name for herself through her raw and captivating performances in films like ‘Tharai Thappattai’ and the recent superhit ‘Vikram Vedha’. The talented actress continues to surprise her fans with her selection of bold and distinct roles.

Now, Varalaxmi has wowed her fans with her first look photos for her movie ‘Shakti’. The first look photos for the trilingual film was released by Sivakarthikeyan, Rana Dagubatti and Dulquer Salman for each version of the film.

The stylish photos showcases varalaxmi in a never-before-seen bold and sophisticated look donning cropped hair and uber cool shades. The changeover of the actress for the film is something commendable. 
In addition to this, the actress’s sister Pooja Sarathkumar also marks her entry into the industry as a stylist. And the first look goes to show that her work is no less than exceptional.

Eventhough Varalaxmi’s role in the film is unclear, it is touted that the film will be an action thriller with elements of travel added to the story. Even the tagline in the picture quotes ‘Some fear fire, some simply become it’. ‘Shakti’ is directed by debutant director Priyadhaarshini  and produced by Papertale Pictures.
