Tamil audiences have waited too long for a Tamil flick. The producers council strike which ran past 45 days has finally ended with a positive resolution and the anticipation for the next release is very high.
Cue drumroll, the first Tamil flick to hit the screens after the strike’s end will be director Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘Mercury’. The film released last Friday in other regions and has been earning a good reception. Eventhough ‘Mercury’ is a 'no language' film, the makers did not release the film in solidarity with the strike.
Now that the strike has ended, ‘Mercury’ is all set to start entertaining audiences from this Friday. Adding veracity to this, even online bookings in thatres have begun. Well, isn’t that great? Have you already booked your tickets?
