First-Day Box Office: ‘Empuraan’ and ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’ Collections Revealed!

Two highly anticipated films, Empuran starring Mohanlal and Veeratheera Sooran starring Vikram, hit the screens yesterday. Let’s take a look at their opening day box office collections.

Empuran’s Record-Breaking Opening

Directed by Prithviraj, Empuran was released amid massive expectations, and it delivered spectacularly at the box office. Reports suggest that the film raked in a whopping ?22 crore on its first day, setting a new record for the highest opening day collection in Malayalam cinema history.

For comparison, Prithviraj’s previous directorial ventures, Aadu Jeevitham and Lucifer, had first-day collections of ?9 crore and ?6 crore, respectively. Empuran has surpassed them by a significant margin.

Veeratheera Sooran’s Strong Start Despite Limited Shows
