FIR on 'Sathyam'

Vishal is ready and raring to go with 'Sathyam'. After a commercial cocktail in ‘Malaikottai’, the tall hero is now playing the role of a tough policeman in his ‘Sathyam’. Directed by R D Rajasekar, the movie features Vishal in the role of policeman who's an encounter expert.

Vishal has done rigorous workouts to trim down so that he can fit well in the role. Nayantara plays his ladylove and she has donned the role of a television journalist.

Greykamma, a visual effects expert, who had worked in movies including ‘Mummy’, ‘Matrix’ and Bollywood hit ‘Krissh’, has been roped in for ‘Sathyam’. Kannada actor-director Upendra plays a prominent role.

“'Sathyam’ is an action film in which I play an encounter expert. It is not a run-of-the-mill police story. It is a different one which is sure to impress my fans”, he says.

‘Sathyam’ is simultaneously being made in Telugu as ‘Salute’. An action scene was shot on the runway of the Dubai International Airport Special equipment which was used in the making of Kamal Haasan's ‘Dasavadharam’ has been used for ‘Sathyam’ as well.
