FIR against actor Ranveer Singh over nude photoshoot?

On Tuesday, the Mumbai Police had registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh over his recent nude photoshoot. The complaint was filed by an NGO citing that his nude photographs, that he published on social media, had 'hurt the sentiments of women'. In the complaint it was also stated that the actor had hurt the sentiments of womena and insulted their modesty through his photographs. The case was filed against the actor under various sections of the Indian Penal Code like 292 (sale of obscene books, etc), 293 (sale of obscene objects to young people), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and provisions of the Information Technology Act, an official from the Chembur police station said.
It was recently, the actor broke the internet with his 'bare-it-all' photoshoot for a popular magazine. In the pictures, the 'Gully Boy' actor was seen wearing nothing but his birthday suit and flaunting his ripped body and toned muscles.
