Coronavirus pandemic has lead to a global impact on every sector, with huge downfall in economy, losses in many businesses and closure of several industries as well. Education sector is one of the worst affected ones, due to indefinite closure of schools and colleges.

In the absence of traditional learning through schools and colleges, the educational institutions have opted to mandate online learning, which is also being misused by many, as several schools have been imposing classes for long duration and weekends as well.

Slamming the online class system, popular producer SR Prabhu has tweeted "A 10th std. student attends classes from 8:30am to 8:30pm & then 1 hr tuition??. Schools should find new ways to educate the kids without keeping them in front of the system for long. Equating the real time class to online class is the most foolish thing an institution can do!".
