Rains, mishaps, jungle safaris, delays  and what not! Looks like this Mani RatnamÂs magmas opus will go down the cine history for its longest shooting adventure.
And now, ÂRaavanÂ, this most anticipated movie, is said to have completed its shooting journey. The entire crew would have dropped down in a joyful relief now, we say! And to mark this occasion, Mani Ratnam and his wife Suhasini organized a party for the team. All is well that ends well! Insiders said that Mani sir praised highly of Govinda and his performance, which touched the surprised actor immensely.

Now to refresh you on the movie details  ÂRaavan is produced and directed by Mani Ratnam. It has a huge star cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Govinda, Vikram, Priyamani, Karthick, Prithviraj and others. ÂRaavan is a bilingual, Hindi-Tamil, movie and loosely based on the Hindu epic ÂRamayanaÂ. Interestingly, the director has modified the story with a modern touch, making the villain a hero. That is, Abhishek here plays the title character as Raavan.
The cinematography is handled by Santosh Sivan while music is done by Oscar winner A.R Rahman. What remains in the list for us is to just wait for this story to unfold on screens. Cross-fingers!
