Earlier this week, Naga Babu opined that Nathuram Godse was a true patriot. Since he is a member of the Jana Sena's Political Affairs Committee, party chief Pawan Kalyan has given a clarification.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday, the actor-politician said, "Jana Sena is a party comprising of several members, supporters and cadres. What they say in their individual capacity is their personal view and not that of the party. As such, our political opponents shouldn't project such personal views as that of Jana Sena Party."
He added that Naga Babu, who is his elder brother, calling Godse a patriot has got nothing to do with the party.
The 'Vakeel Saab' actor urged his party members and leaders not to waste energies on sensitive and controversial topics at a time when the whole country is grappling with an unprecedented pandemic. Without taking a specific stance, Pawan said that "indiscipline" should be shunned by them.
