It was earlier reported that Hebah Patel will be the heroine of GV Prakash Kumar in the Tamil remake of Sukumar's '100% Love'. A couple of weeks ago, the makers announced a casting call for the heroine. But now it has been confirmed by the film's director that Lavanya Tripathi, who has acted in Tamil films 'Brahman' and the upcoming 'Mayavan', will be the heroine of the film.

In his interview to a English daily, the film's director MM Chandra Mouli has confirmed that they have selected Lavanya as the apt choice for the role as they wanted someone to exactly resemble Tamannah's looks in the film original. The director has also confirmed that Lavanya has started working out to reduce her weight and look more young as she plays a college student in the film along with GVP. This romance film is set in a college campus.

The director has also started scouting locations to shoot the film in London. The film will be predominantly shot in London and about 10% will be shot in India.
