Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, who is making her Telugu debut opposite Ram Charan in Rajamouli's RRR, will resume shooting for the film next week. She will join Charan and the team to shoot for a song and a few crucial scenes of the film for a short schedule.
Alia, who plays Sita in the film, has only eight days of shoot left for the film and now that the actress is returning to Hyderabad, Rajamouli is planning to complete her portions in this schedule.
Alia Bhatt was supposed to resume her work earlier this week, but she has gone into quarantine after her beau Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the director of Gangubai Kathiawadi, contracted COVID-19 last week. The climax of RRR is being shot in a specially erected set in Hyderabad.
A little birdie close to the production informed us that Rajamouli had specially flown about 35 foreign fighters from the USA for the part and have stationed them at a popular five-star hotel in the city. Set in the 1920s, RRR is expected to wrap up the entire shooting in 50 days provided everything goes as planned. The film is slated to release on October 13.
Produced by DVV Danayya, RRR revolves around a fictional story about India's iconic freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR. The film also has Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Samuthirakani in supporting roles.
