Naan Sigappu Manidhan, starring Vishal and Lakshmi Menon was in talk for the past few days regarding the fate of the lip-lock scene between the lead pair of the Thiru directed flick.

The censor board had refused to give a clean chit for the film since the makers insisted upon retaining the scene. The film received a U/A certificate and was sent to the review committee. The review committee has watched the film today and upheld the U/A rating given by Censor board citing the same reason. It is because the Naan Sigappu Manidhan comprising of Vishal and Thiru is convinced that if the lip lock portion is cut, the will lose its overall impact. Hence the have decided to retain the scene with minor trimming so that it will not dilute the intensity of the film.

So the news out there is NSM will release on April 11 with U/A rating.

Producer Vishal’s brave decision that gives priority to the quality of the film rather than tax benefits is bound to receive widespread appreciation.
