After a gap of few months, Janapriyanayakan Dileep had a release today in 'FilmStar'.Directed by Sanjeev raj, the movie took to 57 screens all across Kerala. The movie also feature Kalabhavan Mani ,Muktha and Rambha in other important roles. 'Filmstar' will take a big competition from cinematographer turned director Samir Thahir's debut film 'Chappa Kurisu'. Featuring Vineeth Sreenivasan, Fahad Fazil, Nivedhitha Thomas, Ramaya Nambeeshan and roma, the movie is a thriller set in a modern narrative. Expectations are high for this highly promoted movie which is expected to have some high voltage sequences and a lip lock of Ramya and Fahad. The movie is likely to become a trend setter as it goes on for a wide release in 60 centres.

The weekend will also have some more releases in Sureshgopi's "Collector' and Adv Baburaj's "Manushayamrigam'.
