Film on Balakot air strike announced

A story of “bravery and patriotism celebrating the accomplishments of Indian Air Force in 2019 Balakot Airstrike” has been announced.  This Hindi-language film shall be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain and Pragya Kapoor. 

National Award-winning director Abhishek Kapoor of ‘Rock On’ and ‘Kai Po Che’ fame will helm it.  

To be co-written by Kapoor, the film will essentially narrate the events that followed the Pulwama carnage of February 14.  The Balakot air strikes by the IAF shook Pakistan 11 days later.
