Wonder if someone's recent and sudden popularity inspired him, but this 'NH4 Lo Bhooth Bangla' director Ajay Kaundinya on Sunday lambasted everyone from Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Roja to Talasani Srinivas Yadav and the small-time actress Gayatri Gupta.
"I personally like Pawan Kalyan garu. I even have found a producer in Australia who can make a Rs. 100 Cr film with him. Unfortunately, he is bidding goodbye to the industry. Coming to my grouse with him, there are 2 lakh workers in the film industry. Many of them are in poverty. There are many aspiring actors and technicians in Krishna Nagar who are going to the bed hungry.
Why doesn't the Jana Sena leader bat for them? Due to exorbitant rents, theatre owners are suffering. There were 2000 theatres once. Today, they are just 1400. A few top producers are controlling the game. Small films are losing out. Why doesn't Pawan Kalyan take up such issues? Film industry people are like an 'oosaravelli'. Pawan recently went to KCR's office to say sorry to him for criticizing him in the past," Ajay alleged.
He then said that Roja, the actress-turned-politician, talks about all problems but not the film industry's. "RGV has made 'GST' with a foreign star. I am ready to make 'GST-2' with Roja," Ajay said sensationally.
The director alleged that the Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav doesn't have technical knowledge. "He has failed to fulfill the promises made by the Chief Minister. A film city was to be built on 2000 acres. Houses for artists and technicians were promised. Where are they?" he asked.
He also abused Gayatri Gupta (of 'Fidaa' fame) for talking about casting couch in the industry.
