Breaking ! Govt of India releases guidelines for film shootings to resume

Film shootings have been discontinued since the onset of the COVID 19 in India in March end and there have been requests to the government for resumption keeping in mind thousands of families who depend on it for livelihood.

The government of India has released Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the resumption of shooting in the media and entertainment industry. Apart from stress on social distancing and hygiene, it has been advised that makeup artistes and hair stylists who have close proximity to the actors to wear Preventive Protective Equipment (PPEs).

There is mention of tickets being booked online and cashless and cardless manner which indicates that movie theaters could also be allowed to function once again. The resumption of shootings and the reopening of theaters are round the corner judging from these new guidelines from the central government.
