Film academy set up in Mohan Babu University

In January last year, senior actor and educational entrepreneur Mohan Babu said that he would be setting up a University. Named Mohan Babu University, the same has already been set up in Tirupathi under the broader umbrella called the Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust
The news is that the University boasts of a Film Academy as well. Diploma and degree courses in filmmaking, acting, screenwriting, cinematography and photography are being taught at the university.
Costume and fashion designing courses have also been introduced. With his vast experience and state-of-the-art faculties, the Academy is expected to pioneer several initiatives in the coming years.
Sree Vidyanikethan Institute of Management, Sree Vidyanikethan College of Nursing, Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College, Sree Vidyanikethan College of Pharmacy, Sree Vidyanikethan Degree College, among others, already exist under the aegis of SVET.
Under the aegis of MBU, a three-storied library of international standards has also come up. A supremely large kitchen that can make 40,000 meals ready without using human resources has also come up. The automated kitchen was designed under the leadership of Manchu Vishnu.
