Wow! Abdul Kalam to decorate this year's 'Golu'!

Come Navaratri time, 'golu' plays a highlight during this celebratory and festive season. Families arrange little dolls, figurines of gods and deities in a showcase display offering their worship.

This year's 'bomma golu' will have an interesting addition as makers of the 'golu' dolls have come up with figurines of our beloved former president and 'missile man of India' APJ Abdul Kalam. Apart from this, people could now also get figurines of former chief minister J.Jayalalithaa from vendors in the city.
