The cast and crew of SS Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR are back on sets and filming has resumed. on june 21, Ram Charan released a photo of himself dressed as Alluri Seetharama Raju from RRR and announced that filming has commenced.

Now the recent report states that Jr. NTR has also joined the team.The film's production is expected to be completed by August and the team are planing a theatrical release this October.

After the government relaxed the Covid-19 curfew limitations, the cast of RRR started filming in October of last year. Due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, the shoot was abruptly halted after finishing a 50-day big action sequence with the key actors.

RRR is a fictional story based on the lives of Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, two revolutionaries. The film, directed by SS Rajamouli of Baahubali fame, is being made on a massive budget of Rs 450 crore. Alia Bhatt is cast as Ram Charan's love interest in RRR, which will mark her Tollywood debut.

Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Alison Doody, Shriya, and Ray Stevenson also play significant roles in the film. Fans have been excited to witness SS Rajamouli weave his magic again after Baahubali since the film began production.
