FF for Darshan and Priya!

According to highly placed sources the challenging star of Kannada cinema Darshan has bagged the 61st Film Fare award for his sterling performance in ‘Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna’ – a historical film made with mammoth budget that collected highest in the history of Kannada cinema.

It is a right award from prestigious Times Group for Darshan. According to industry persons the struggle has got the right appreciation. Apparently this is the first national acclaimed award that Darshan will be getting on 20th of July at Hyderabad in the 61st FF annual award for South. Darshan is the current box office badshah in Kannada cinema.

Meanwhile national award winning actress Priyamani for ‘Paruthiveeran’ has been selected for the best actress for 61st FF award for her very difficult task of conjoined twins in ‘Charulatha’. A film by Dwarakish Chitra was released in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil languages.

More on 61st FF on 21st of July – the event is on 20th of July in Hyderabad.
