'Ferrari Ki Sawaari', the latest feature from Vinod Chopra Productions with Sharman Joshi as the lead actor has blocked their release date. The makers are so confident with their product that they don't feel India’s passion no.1 cricket as a threat and are ready to release the film on 27th April, 2012 right in between of IPL cricket matches.

No film has ever made a conscious decision and planned to release their film in between the IPL mania and we all know that in this country cricket is as big as a religion.

Director Rajesh Mapuskar confirms, "Yes we are releasing in midst of IPL. Ferrari Ki Sawaari is one of the most awaited films of the year and we have decided on 27th April, 2012 to be the release date for us."

Shot on real locations, on busy roads and amidst live audience, 'Ferrari Ki Sawaari' marks the next big release from VCF after blockbusters '3 Idiots' and 'Munnabhai'.

Both Rajkumar Hirani and Vinod Chopra, for sometime had put all their projects on the backburner, and Vinod Chopra religiously worked on the pre - production of the film, while Rajkumar Hirani wrote the dialogues of the film. Both the veterans are today proud of their protege’s achievements.
