As was reported recently, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is playing his late father, Harikrishna, in the biopics 'Kathanayakudu' and 'Mahanayakudu'. Marking the auspicious occasion of Dasara, the actor has unveiled a new still in which he is talking to a seated NT Rama Rao (played by Balakrishna).

"Feeling proud and emotional about reprising the role of my father," the 'MLA' actor said. "Thirty years ago, I was a child artiste in Babai's film 'Balagopaludu'. Again now.. Babai as his father, me as my father," the actor recently tweeted out. Harikrishna, who died on August 29, was the driver of TDP's Chaitanya Ratham when the party was launched.

The way Balayya has metamorphosed into his legendary father is winning accolades all over. If 'Kathanayakudu' releases on Jan 9, the other part will arrive on Jan 24.
