Director Fazil is busy directing Srikanth for his next Oru Naal Ou Kanavu.

The movie which stars Sonia Agarwal opposite Srikanth, is proceeding fast in Kerala.

Fazil says "when I narrated Kadhalukku Mariyathai to Vijay, he was initially reluctant to do it since it was a emotional melodrama that needed a stout performance. However I was convinced with his skills that I insisted him to play and it did the trick".

Similarly for Oru Naal Oru Kanavu, I was sure that Srikanth would suit the role. However after a couple of days of shooting with Srikanth, I feared whether I had taken a wrong decision. But I was not, says Fazil.

"A quick learner, Srikanth has settled into his groove very fast and has since then been coming up with a remarkable performance. No doubt he would emerge as a major talent to watch and would achieve more in tinsel town."
