What’s the latest, biggest deal in the con world? Space suits. Made of tin foil. Before you go ‘what in the world is this. .’, let us assure you this actually happened in the first place. A father-son duo tried conning a New Delhi businessman dressed in a tin foil space suit, posing as NASA employees.
Trying to make a scapegoat of a businessman Narendar, the duo had tried to sell properties that possessed ‘othewrworldly’ qualities. For instance here: a rare piece of copper plate struck by a thunderbolt. The duo had asked the businessman to invest Rs.14.3m for tests following which they claimed they would sell the finished product to NASA for a whopping $5 Billion.
Too good to believe? So thought Narendar too as he filed a complaint with the police. Police later found out that the father-son duo plated copper with liquid magnet and small iron wires to make a fool of the victim. Pictures of the arrested duo in their space suit is becoming viral with netizens poking fun at the bizarreness of the incidence. Like try a tin foiled space suit sans gloves.
