In a shocking news, World champion sprinter and eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt has tested positive for the coronavirus and is currently self-isolating at his home in Jamaica. This result arrives after the sprinter had celebrated his 34th birthday at a huge bash without wearing mask.
Jamaica health ministry has confirmed yesterday that Bolt, who holds world records in the 100m and 200m distance, had tested positive following his video on social media which said he was waiting for his results.
Bolt said in his video message "Just to be safe I quarantined myself and just taking it easy," and the video had him lying in bed. The video was posted with the caption "Stay safe my ppl".
