It isn't very often that political leaders show much interest in the Bollywood industry but when the film is an inspiration from the life of the legendary Indian sprinter Milkha Singh, one cannot just sideline it completely. This was the exact situation that BJP Parliamentary Party chief L.K. Advani faced after hearing the crowd go all praises for the film.

Hence following a special request from his office, a private screening was recently held in the country's capital for the politician and his special group. Presenting the screening were filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, actor Farhan Akhtar, Rajiv Tandon, CEO of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Productions and National Award wining editor and producer of the film, Bharati Mehra.
