Farhan Akhtar to seek legal action against trolls

Last week, several Bollywood stars took to social media to share moments from their Diwali celebrations and Farhan Akhtar was one of them. The actor-filmmaker shared a picture where his family can be seen performing pooja and although this is a harmonious act, he faced brutal trolling and backlash from extremist netizens. Trolls argued that Farhan shouldn't have performed Diwali rituals since he follows Islam.
Since Farhan is son of a Muslim father and a Parsi mother, it is natural for him to celebrate all the festivals of both religions. Reports in several news outlets suggest that Akhtar family has decided to take the matter to court instead of ignoring the trolls. Although, ignorance is the best reply to such faceless keyboard warriors, Javed Akhtar believes that the family has had enough and they are going to seek legal action.
On the work front, Farhan was last seen in sports drama 'Toofan' and he's making his directorial comback with the film 'Jee Le Zara'.
