Farhan Akhtar To Be a Father Again

  • IndiaGlitz, [Wednesday,August 23 2006]

The promos of ‘Don’ are slick-n-stylish. Somehow they remind you of ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ for their novelty value. Director Farhan Akhtar seems to have found his mettle yet again after an aberration called ‘Lakshya’ where he had reportedly misbehaved with Amitabh Bachchan. It is rather apparent that Akhtar has matured both as a director as well as person. Well, the good news for him is that his wife Adhuna Akhtar is expecting their second baby. Their first born is daughter Shakya.

I personally feel and have repeatedly voiced my opinion that SRK in ‘Don’ is looking far more promising than SRK in ‘KANK’. The lean-mean-look, the swanky cars, the gorgeous babes and that Ganpati-Masti. Shahrukh is looking red hot. And the credit goes to the director in the way he has envisioned King Khan. IndiaGlitz spoke to actor Pawan Malhotra recently who is playing the role of Narang in the film. And the talented actor was all praise for Farhan’s crew for their professionalism. In fact he compared it with the film units abroad in the films he has worked in US and UK.

IndiaGlitz wishes Farhan Akhtar best wishes for DON and for another little one in the family.
