Filmmaker, actor, singer Farhan Akhtar has previously sung in movies like 'Rock On', 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' and 'Dil Dhadakne Do'. His voice is very much liked by all and he has also received accolades for it. News is that, he has recently recorded a special song titled 'Atrangi yaari' for his upcoming movie 'Wazir'.

The song talks about unusual friendships which is also the theme of the film. 'Wazir' is directed by Bejoy Nambiar and is all set to release on January 8 next year. Sources say that, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra came up with the idea to have Farhan sing a song in the movie.

The promotional track is composed by Rochak Kohli and penned by Gurpreet Saini and Deepak Ramola. The movie also stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham.
