We have seen how movie-mates play pranks on each other on the shooting sets. Here is another to that list.

This time the movie’s actor fooled his director! During the shooting of ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’, the director Vijay Lalwani was explaining a scene to his actor, Farhan Akhtar. Vijay had tied a telephone wire around Farhan’s neck, to his utter shock the actor fell down. The director and crew members panicked and Farhan was immediately given a pillow to cushion his head and his hands were massaged to boost blood circulation, sources revealed. A completely shaken up Vijay, immediately called for an ambulance and even tried calling producer Ritesh Sidhwani. Seeing (and enjoying) all hubbub around him, Farhan finally owned up to his prank; much to the relief of the director. Later, the director learnt that Farhan and cinematographer Sano Varghese had decided to stage the prank.
