We all know that Farhan Akhtar has been shooting for his upcoming film 'Lucknow Central'.... Interestingly, the actor has been shooting on outdoor locations and city's rising temperature forced him to use one of his character's accessories. And that is, the humble, 'gamcha' - to shield the heat.
The soaring temperatures and humidity got the best out of Farhan has been braving the heat on the sets of his film in Mumbai.
A production hand from the set revealed, "Farhan's character in the film carries a gumcha (a longish cotton towel used in North India) all the time. During our recent outdoor shoots in Mumbai, Farhan used the gumcha like a turban to cover his head, and at times, he even wrapped his face with it because the heat would get to him while he'd wait for his shot." Talk about ways to beat the heat...
'Lucknow Central' is set against the backdrop of a jail, where Farhan plays the role of a prisoner, aspiring to be a Bhojpuri singer.
The film is already creating buzz for its mammoth jail set in Film City and its shoot is happening in full swing.
Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures, the film is directed by Ranjit Tiwari, and is slated to release on 15th September 2017.
