The ace choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan is impatient these days. Reason: she is to find her cast for her much talked and much delayed project Happy New Year.
While Shah Rukh Khan and Boman Irani have been finalised the hunt is on for the leading lady. Talks are that the story of Happy New Year is about five male friends who end up participating in a dance competition in spite of being no good in dancing. These men with the help of a bar dancer win the world dance championship.
Names of several A-list actresses have been making rounds for the female lead, among which were Sonakshi Sinha and Parineeti Chopra. Besides, speculations were rife that Farah might even rope in a face for the heroines role.
However, the filmmaker apparently is surprised with all these rumours and in an interview she denied that she has not yet found the right girl for the film.
"There is a special requirement for the role of a bar dancer and for that I need a very good actress who can who can dance very well and look hot at the same time," quoted Farah who also added to say that she wont be casting any newcomer as a fresh girl wouldn't be suitable for the role.
It is said that the leading lady will also get to do some action scenes and so Farah is keen that she finds someone who is graceful and sporty at the same time.
