Remember Farah Karimaee from the romantic-thriller film Teraa Surroor? She is now part of Ram Charan's film directed by Surendar Reddy. In this Thani Oruvan remake (said to have been titled as Dhruva), she is cast opposite Arvind Swamy, who plays the main villain.

She is reprising Mugdha Godse's role from the Tamil version. Farah's role could be only a brief one in the Telugu version, like what it was in the original. While Mugdha is a model in the original, Farah's role is not exactly known.

Surendar Reddy seems to be leaving no stone unturned to bring out this film as a slick, cop actioner. This is the reason why a model-like face like Farah, who was born and brought up in the Netherlands, has been chosen.
