Vishal-Shekhar are on a high. Their music of 'Tees Maar Khan' has just released while 'Ra. 1', slated to arrive in Diwali, is carrying terrific buzz as well. Given the fact that the composers were working on two major films almost simultaneously, how did they adjust themselves to change in mood, scope, setting and demand of Shah Rukh Khan-Anubhav Sinha and Akshay Kumar-Farah Khan combos?
"We always go by the vision of the director. In case of 'Ra. 1' too, we were pretty comfortable as Anubhav Sinha, the director, is someone with whom we have worked earlier in 'Dus', 'Cash' and 'Tathastu'", chips in Vishal, "Whether it is Anubhav or Farah, both have an unbelievable sense of music."
Shekhar goes on to elaborate here, "The way Farah and Anubhav speak about their music, it truly conveys how experienced they are due to them being in the business for so long. Both have been directing songs for two decades now and have made a few films too. They understand good melody and that shows in their conversation. The general vibe that they exude is great and one can sense the energy they bring with them."
With 'Tees Maar Khan' living up to the promise of it's earthy music, it now has to be seen if the sci-fi flavour of 'Ra. 1' will cut an ice with the music lovers as well.
