We conducted a poll asking fans about which director, who Vijay has never worked with, would they want to combine with their idol for a new project. The directors are Maniratnam, Sundar C, Vetrimaran, Venkat Prabhu, Selvaraghavan, Suseenthiran, Hari, KV Anand, Lingusamy and Vishnuvardhan.

The results of the polls as of now is that the majority of the fans want a Maniratnam- Vijay film. Hope Ponniyin Selvan` or a new script brings together the ace director and Illayathalapathy soon.
