There was chaos at Santosh theatre morning show of Ranavikrama` screening after interval when Ranna` of Kichcha Sudeep film trailer was screened. The fans of power star Puneeth Rajakumar did not like this trailer screening and shouting slogans threw the soft drink bottle towards the projection room from the balcony class. The bottle pieces bounced back on three rows from the top at Santosh theatre. One of the directors of Kannada cinema Yogi of Kushi Kushiyagi` received injury and blood oozed out from his chin and lips.

On the other side - right side of the projector room where the media was sitting received glass pieces. A senior journalist from The Hindu Mr Muralidhar Khajane received a blow on his right knee from a bottle. Screaming of pain Mr Muralidhar Khajane wanted to leave the theatre. The Santosh theatre management understanding the mood of the Puneeth Rajakumar fans stopped Ranna` trailer and resumed Ranavikrama` Kannada cinema.

Senior journalist Muralidhar Khajane rubbing his knees continued to watch the film as there was no way out to move away from the theatre. The attendance of Puneeth Rajakumar fans was in excess. The theatre of Santosh failed to control the fans.

At the Gandhi class there was fireworks that created tension. The fans of Puneeth Rajakumar and Kichcha Sudeep are at loggerhead was clearly seen. Before Ranna trailer, the trailer of Endendigu and Plus Kannada films were shown. The fans did not make any disturbance. It was only when Ranna` trailer screened the tension built up inside the theatre.

It is high time the fans clash is sorted out. Audience will keep away coming to the theaters.
