It's known that Prakash Raj is running for the post of the President of Movie Artists Association. A fanboy named Palli Ranjith Kumar, who is a junior artist in the Telugu film industry, has decided to stand with him in a passionate way. He will be walking 485 kms over a period of four days from Rajahmundry to Hyderabad to extend his support to Prakash Raj.
"It's unfortunate that an individual like Prakash Raj garu has been described as a non-local person by some people in the film industry. I am a fan not just of his acting but also of his nobility. He has adopted a village in Mahboobnagar district and has been working for its residents. Such a man can't be called a non-local person," Kumar told a TV channel.
Reacting to the news, Prakash Raj tweeted, "It is the selfless love of people like you that drives me forward as an artist. Your endeavour to walk hundreds of kilometers is causing me pain. Please withdraw from the walkathon and go back to your home. I will personally meet you soon."
Prakash Raj is currently in Madhya Pradesh, where he is shooting for Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan-I' with Karthi. Earlier this month, he had a surgery after a mild hand fracture.
