Venkatesh, a die-hard Telugu fan of Sonu Sood, is in the news because he has walked on foot 700 km to meet his favourite philanthropist. For several days, the guy was on the roads from Hyderabad to Mumbai. He has been moved by the charity works that the 'Arundhati' actor has been sponsoring.

On meeting Sonu Sood, Venky's happiness knew no bounds. The 'Dookudu' actor made it a point to pose with him for a pic. Posting the pic, Sonu Sood wrote, "Venkatesh, this boy walked barefoot all the way from Hyderabad to Mumbai to meet me, despite me making efforts to arrange some sort of transportation for him to come here. He is truly inspiring and has immensely humbled me. I, however, don’t want to encourage anyone to take the trouble of doing this, love you all."

Earlier this week, too, Sonu Sood had appealed to his fans no to go out of their way to show their love.

Sonu is now building oxygen plants in several states. After Andhra Pradesh, his work is now spreading to Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, UP, MP and Bihar. As many as 5,500 beds will benefit from his 18 oxygen plants.
