A few months ago, a fanboy walked hundreds of kilometres to meet with Pooja Hegde, the lassy he so madly admires. When he finally met his favourite actress in Mumbai, she convinced him not to repeat such things for her sake.

Mercifully, Akash Tripathi from Telangana didn't have the patience to walk all the way to meet his favourite, Rashmika Mandanna. He used different modes of transport to reach her. Travelling in a train and other vehicles, Tripathi travelled 900 kms to reach a place in Karnataka's Kodagu, where the 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Bheeshma' actress resides as per Google Maps.

As per a PTI report, Tripathi returned after a local had complained to the police about the man's plan to meet Rashmika. The local had got done it after Tripathi kept asking for Rashmika's address.

The poor fan was told that he can't break lockdown rules in Kodagu. The police also told him that the 'Chalo' beauty is in Mumbai.

Rashmika has moved to an apartment in Mumbai, where she will be shooting for 'Goodbye', the Hindi film also stars Amitabh Bachchan. 'Mission Majnu', co-starring Sidharth Malhotra, is yet another of her Hindi movies. Meanwhile, reports suggest that Rashmika will be shooting for Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa', too, in July.
