James Cameron's 'Avatar: The Way of Water' landed in cinemas amid skyrocketed expectations. The visual extravaganza was released in 160 languages in nearly 52,000 theatres around the world.

Meanwhile, a person passed away while watching Avatar 2. This tragic incident took place in Peddapuram city of Andhra Pradesh’s Kakinada district. According to the reports, Lakshmireddy Srinu (victim) went to a theatre to watch 'The Way of Water' with his brother Raju. Srinu suffered a heart attack and collapsed during the movie.

Immediately, his brother rushed him to Peddapuram Government Hospital in an unconscious state. There, the doctors declared he was brought dead. The victim has a daughter and a son. In a similar incident that happened 12 years ago, a 42-year-old man in Taiwan died of a heart attack while watching the first part of ‘Avatar’.
