The pre-release event of 'Bimbisara' on Friday was followed by the tragic death of a die-hard Nandamuri fan. Putta Sai Ram is his name.
On Saturday, NTR Arts, in a statement, condoled Sai Ram's demise and called the unfortunate incident as deeply saddening. "In what is a heart-breaking incident, Putta Sai Ram, who attended the event last night, is no more. Sai Ram has been an ardent fan from the Pentapadu Mandal of West Godavari district. We express our deepest condolences to the family of Sai Ram and we would support them in any means possible," the banner, owned by Nandamuri Kalyanram, stated.
Jr NTR graced the event as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, the 'RRR' actor expressed confidence that audiences will flock to theatres to watch good films like 'Bimbisara'. He also urged the audience to make both 'Sita Ramam' and his brother's movie box-office hits when they hit the screens on August 5.
'Bimbisara', co-starring Samyuktha Menon and Catherine Tresa, is directed by newcomer Vasishta.
An unfortunate and heartbreaking incident.
