Actor Kamal Haasan has been very actively reacting to the recent political developments in Tamil Nadu for the past few weeks. He has been receiving bouquets from people and brickbats from ruling party politicians and their supporters for the same.

Now in a shocking turn of events, one Sudhagar and a few other members of Kamal Haasan Rasigargal Narpani Iyakkam have been arrested in connection with Jallikattu protests held across the state last month.

Reacting to this, Kamal has called it an act of 'Politcal vendetta."

Here is a gist of what the legendary actor has said in a series of Tamil tweets.

"I had decided to reduce my number of tweets and keep silent hoping that the people's justice will save the nation. Yesterday, Sudhagar and a few other members of our Iyakkam (organisation) have been arrested in for TN Jallikattu protests. This increases our reputation and also exposes the Political vendetta against us. At this time, members of our Iyakkam should be more patient and dignified. Continue to voice your opinion but do it in a measured manner. We should not give up our principle. Whichever party forms the Government, our job is to protect the public welfare. We will continue this pay-less job forever. They (rulers) will come and go often. Nation will be permanent."
