Legendary Tamil Cinematographer passes away!

In a fateful day for Tamil cinema, the industry has lost one of it's stalwarts, as legendary cinematographer B Kannan has passed away today at a private hospital in Chennai. He was 69.
B Kannan, who's the son of legendary director Bhimsingh and brother of editor B Lenin, has been known for his long standing collaboration with director Bharathiraja and had worked with him from Nizhalgal till Bommalattam.
B Kannan has heart issues and had underwent a surgery recently in a private hospital in Vadapalani. However, as he didn't respond well to the treatment, Kannan passed away at 2 PM today. Condolences are pouring for the legend who was fondly called as Bharathiraja's eyes.
